Harini Nagendra signed copies of her latest book ‘The Bangalore Detectives Club’— a book about Kaveri Murthy, the protagonist, who is resolute to solve the murder mystery inspite of the bricks-backs of people around her. Her entity as a home-maker is not an impediment to prevent her from going through detective novels and understanding the fingerprint miasma to cement the open cracks.
She is currently a professor of Ecology at Azim Premji University. She has written books in the past—Nature in the City: Bengaluru in the Past, Present, and Future and Cities and Canopies: Trees in Indian Cities.
‘The Bangalore Detectives Club’ is her foray into Crime Fiction.
