Modi is a ligneous craft of sustainability and reliability. A tenacious hollyhock, he thrives not to be a mundane descendant of politics relying on intoxicating vendettas and chicanery, but a belief in a polity pulled by its bootstraps and is a palanquin of reforms and rapprochement.
Wondrous, waggish, a wander crust and a wizard, Modi embodies the depth and vision that not many preceding Prime Ministers have been able to aspire. The only name that resounds a palatable staccato was “Jawaharlal Nehru” – the first Prime Minister of India. He was a thaumaturgic and fastidious player. His vision to make India a secular country, infused in it the tenants of democracy is a legacy that no other nation has been able to quantify.
Modi follows suit; he plummets the same nationalistic precision to invigorate a beam of pride and belongingness among its citizens. The bizarre spectacle of his foppish appearance in impeccably clad kurtas and khadi jackets makes him an old wine cascaded down the newly polished ceramic glass, still retaining its original flavor. People are inspired to write about him; inspired by his precipitous call to turn the tide when u seem to get accustomed to the plaguing waves breaking you from inside—demonetization was a thunderous bolt that cradled away the ignominious wave of debauchery and pilferage. Many more tides were to be swept under the feet in his tenure, making him a fearless brain wire of infallible “action potentials.”
Where to begin with…..the book “Modi@20 – Dreams meet Delivery” is not a biography and neither assimilatesa slapdash of critical analysis but is a conscientious penning by the doyens of his achievements and efforts acclaimed in the last 20 years. His strategic governance as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to a well-defined tenure as the Prime Minister—still a reality and probably a protracted dream—has had a stentorian impact on many minds; these minds from different areas of expertise decided not to leave their observations as a pillage of broken straws in the bustling nest but to gather each straw responsible in the making of the formidable nest.
In the making of this book, the who’s who have come together to expatiate Modi’s beliefs and motive, and the impregnable inspiration he has become. The spokesperson could be the sporty P.V.Sindhu or the dynamic Amit Shah, or the versatile Anupam Kher to the eloquent Sadhguru—the burling sounds of their words reverberate “Modi” as a youth icon and one who believes in cementing people to work in unanimity for a nationalistic cause.
The ubiquity of Modi is prevalent in his reforms for the impoverished, women and health of the country as a whole. Who would have envisaged that “Beti Bachao Beti Padao” movement and the “Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana” would cut the ground under the feet claiming for a deracinated and liberal India? The “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” created unprecedented wave of providing basic amenities to the poorer sections of the society. His robust effort to carve a niche for his country around the world, and a plausible camaraderie with the Indian diaspora draw him as a chiaroscuro of aggression and sensitivity.
TAKE AWAY
Modi’s volcanism of views and strategies are a core of his success. His maneuver for change is not a chicanery to outstrip his opponents but a conscientious effort to uplift the economy from the perishable swathes of poverty and disgruntlement. The book extrapolates on issues like women empowerment, promulgation of GST, the fastidious digital proclivity, Covid Vaccination Drive and creating a safe harbor for the religious minorities.
Modi is a connoisseur of predictable humanitarianism—understanding the length and depth of one’s conscious. From his strictly rooted background, comes an urge to effortlessly set up reforms for the upliftment of the society and carries no compunction in abolishing the old rattle trap.
The book is a proof of his popularity and the “go-getter” he is!
