The Sun, stark in its endurance
Absorbs the abundance of ‘Fiery’,
The Moon surfaces a pleasurable ‘Ego’
Thinks it subsumes the charm of priory, a cappella,
The Stars form a firework of disenchanting ‘Lust’
Sidereal in their proximity, not to trust,
The Clouds in the ‘Greed’ to expand its union
Castle a cumulonimbus of delusion,
The proclivity to ‘Attachment’ remains a mystery
Is it the heart reclining arbitrarily?
Or, the mind indulged in chicanery?
Asks the plants and bushes
Rocks and pebbles
The pungent Lion, the reckless Deer and the bridled species
If longing can be defined?
Immersed in pain
The heart only wails
How then we suppress Anger?
How then we kill the Ego?
Has Lust made us fragile?
How we break the cycle of Greed?
Why attachment spills tears?
How is it possible to be worthy of existence?
The onset of these emotions triggers the beast
Let’s align with the Divine
Who knows the secret
One will find equanimity, atleast!
